You have to be in the #clique to get a custom title.

i only watched the game up until they went off, sounds like i missed **** all lol.

apart from studge should have scored not a lot to shout about, but if he saves it for when it counts, don't matter too much lol.

did the heat get to them, or we was just that ****e?

I think I've been watching different games to everyone else. We dominated play, playing decent. passing football, in two games against latin american opponents (okay, not exactly top-notch) in Latin American conditions. Ox, Barklay, and, perhaps, lambert, have been outstanding; Henderson, Baines, Lallana, Wilshire, Wellbeck, Rooney and Gerrard got better/were fine. Johnson is playing as he has done for the last six months, Lampard brings experience and not much else, Shaw makes me wish we'd taken Cole, and God help us if anything happens to cahill and Jagielka. Let's hope Studge is saving his goals for the tournament.

All that aside though, I think we're playing.... alright. We'll know after the first 15 minuts against Italy in the heat, but I'd start with the youngsters and then bring on the Milners, lampards and so forth to contain the game rather than the other way around, but i can see arguments for an alternative approach. But as Neil armstrong once said after he'd deliberately smashed a simulated landing into the surface of the moon, simulators/friendlies are for learning. I have confidence.

Exactly what i'd do. We need to go at these teams with pace, movement and no fear. If we start with all the oldies (bar Gerrard) the game will just pass us by and before you know it we're losing and then having to bring on the kids to try and scrape a draw.

This world cup we should just go flat out, play the kids and see what happens. We're not going to win the thing so rather than see what we've seen for the last 8 or so years, lets try something different.

But the problem is we all know what Hodgson is like...

I thin hodgson will be happy with 0-0 v the mighty Honduras

Please do note nobody wants an injury so they play conservatively... Not much is learned bar hodgson a favorites thing patterns of play. After all England are a pub team integrating 18 odd near strangers into a team and having 5 total news turn in not knowing where to stand (shaw and Barkley for example)

In the end the near month together is meant to make an at least organised team of sorts

The thing is nearly every other major tournament everyone else does this better than us and we never look to my mind right until game 3.. If at all....

I'll bet despite how fn awful Italy look 0-0 is highly likely and from there we rely on Uruguay to beat them up worse than they beat us to get out of group
