If the threshold for what is a foul has been raised, then the refs have to be consistent in their application of this new approach. I thought this ref tonight was massively inconsistent. Some real rough stuff ignored, some petty offences getting cards. Is this what we are to expect? Also, I know he went down lightly, but Dennis’s shirt was blatantly pulled hard, and we should’ve had a penalty for that.

Of course I’m biased, but it truly felt like the ref was too. Almost like he was trying to be contrary - it was very odd.
Trying far too hard to not be deemed a "homer" ref Worst one for me was the number 3 took out Pedro and waved play on , Pedro gets up wins the ball back and the ref gives them a free kick and books Pedro I know Pedro went in a bit hard but come on compared to what he let go it was not even a foul
