Phillips and Rice when Kroos gets the ball.

I visited the Reichstag a few years ago; it's a good tour.

One where the headset picks up where you are and plays the right piece of commentary at the right time. That always impresses me.

I'm easily impressed though.

I remember when spiralling round the glass domey bit the commentary said that Foster designed the additions to the building so that anyone can look down into the debating chamber of the Bundestag and see everything that is going on.

Never again will German politics be conducted in a clandestine manner. We all know where that ended up.

I love a bit of architecturally designed symbolism, me.
Exactly

…some nice pubs nearby too

5 at the back and two CDMs and still the Germans cut through us like piss through snow. Who’d have thunk that playing negative defensive football would give the opposition **** loads of possession?

Formation and team selection irrelevant for me, when you go out with a defensive safety first mindset you invite the opposition to press and attack you, we are putting ourselves inder pressure here

It feels like there’s a million miles of space between the back 5, the two midfielders and the front three. There’s just no link-up at all. No chance to play nice through-balls on the ground. It’s all route one, over-the-top stuff.
