Love the fact it pisses you off. Thats the issue, not the 20 seconds before kickoff.

I don't think it boils down to players choosing to do it anymore.Peer pressure seems to have taken precedent over individual thought.

Is this meant to be an argument against anti-racism?

That sounds divisive. Perhaps an alternative gesture that doesn't have links to a self declared Marxist organisation would be less naive and more effective.

Not for Malik and Josh last season, but ill support them without snowflaking over a 20 second pause before a game.

I don't believe any sensible person thinks it's about being 'anti-racist' whatever who ever dreamt up that nonsense of a phrase thought it meant.

The very fact that anyone has an issue with players taking the knee absolutely proves they must continue to do so.

Taking a stand (or a knee) against racism isn’t political, it’s a basic human moral value, which some people apparently seem to think is a matter of opinion.

Yes, address this, remedy it - problem solved,

Then we can go on to a new foreign issue which troubles our players -- the bombing of Palestine by Israel perhaps?

Absolutely, as the vast majority will stand in support.

Maybe it will be a protest about kim jong korea starving his people, but as its not an issue direcy felt by their team mates i doubt that will ever be relevant.

Maybe they'll stand like statues to protect lumps of bronze one day, but again, i doubt it because its irrelevant.

If they do though, its 20 seconds to hold my peace ant ill not take issue with it.

I doubt it somehow. As a method of demonstrating unity, it's been an abject failure, with black people and players calling it out as such. It seems to be people with agendas beyond it's current claims that cling to it.

I say current claims, as they've had to change it from the original one, as they weren't even bright enough to know what it was.:emoticon-0102-bigsm
