    All good, cheers Ern.

I keep an eye on the forum from time to time to make sure no one is taking a liberty. It’s what I do.

I hope you’re well and in order and yes I think you can call them the Bosch, I think they like it.

In fact, I know they do.

Pretty gutted about that to be honest, always dreamed of knocking Germany out a competition but to do it with ducking Sterling starting, no Grealish, 2 defensive mids and 5 at the back is a piss take and ruined it for me.

Im supporting Ukraine on Saturday, don’t support England anymore.

Will he still go 5-2-3 against Ukraine? Credit where it's due, Southgate had a game plan to not let the Germans score and he succeeded and the atmosphere and build-up to the game was great but the movement of the ball from the back to the forwards was still quite dire for large spells of the match. I still maintain that whilst they're solid players, Rice and Phillips just aren't creative and technically-gifted enough to justify both of them starting as the ONLY midfielders ahead of Mount, Foden, Bellingham and to a lesser extent, even Henderson.

    It was indeed.

I’ve been to well over fifty England games, including two Euros and two World Cups and tonight was actually the first time I’ve seen us win a knockout game in a major competition.

    And it was Germany. Sweet.

Sterling has scored 15 in 20 england starts. 3 in 4 in the tournament

Keeping the bosch in check for 60 mins, matchig them with a cautious approach and waiting for gaps to appear, then deploying a fresh Grealish was tactical nous. Southgate did something his old managers didn't and it worked, perfectly.

    Philistine.

Great result, and credit to Gareth who got his tactics spot on. Pickford had really impressed me, his keeping and ball distribution have been excellent so far, long may that continue. Wonderful to see Sterling prove doubter wrong, he has been the outstanding performer so far.

A momentous evening and I am lucky enough to have seen England knock the German's out of a major tournament the only twice it has happened. As Gareth said, this win means little if we don't go on now and finish the job, England is unlikely to get a better chance than they have now!

I'd have Henderson in there, and possibly Southgate would have done had Henderson been fully fit. Maybe still will.
