He has been poor, yes his pace turns teams and pushes teams back and this is useful but when you need him to make the right decision or get his first touch right or score he gets it wrong and at some point that may cost you big time. If anyone is watching him and thinks he's doing well then they need to lay off the smack.

 

He's a threat until it comes to the crucial moment he will then **** up the assist or shot.

 

I would play Rashford over Sterling any day of the week.
Sterling gets to play for an awesome club side and that has given a false impression of his abilities imo.
Rashford is twice the player Sterling is.

Rashford is way overhyped and hasn't made the transition from youth player to first teamer yet. In terms of decision making.

Croatia also have some injury doubts and like you say, they are an ageing team who hopefully will be knackered after about 75 mins.

Rashford over Sterling for me. But I think Southgate will start with Sterling.

 

I really can't see Southgate changing anythng unless someone is struggling with a knock ... Rashford and Vardy shouldl relish getting on against (hopefully) already half knackered Croats if needed
