No one seemed to want to shoulder the responsibility.

They've just shown the bite again on BBC One.

Did you watch Filey? Are you still skeptical?

    I hope not.

reckon the Suarez bite rattled the Italians as they conceded shortly afterwards.. which is probably what he was trying to achieve

They've still only won 1 WC game since, what is your point again?

They played less games because they've done worse.

They went out in the groups in both 10 and 14, we got through the group in 10.

If this is an attempt to bash England like normal, it's failing. A bit like Scotland.

wasnt it the last world cup where he had the handball on the line to stop the other team from scoring?

Yep, vs Ghana in the quarters.

In all fairness most players will have likely done what he did then, it's just a basic instinct that kicks in.

He wanted away last season and they blocked it.

They are not a CL side without him.

He's going to the Real Madrid.

    Word.

Yeah against Ghana in the 1/4 finals.

He got sent off & Ghana missed the penalty.

Uruguay went on to win the match on pens.

    Looks like cheats do prosper.

Not really, getting through the group and losing is much better than going out in the group.

Saying that, Scots have no idea what the knockout rounds are like.

Agree with all of that. I thought Lampard was our best player today. Some of his passing was excellent and he got himself stuck in. A lot of people have said that Gerrard shouldn't retire because he can be "our Pirlo". Well, he showed nothing in this tournament that suggests he can be and Lampard today was, at times, very much like "our Pirlo". In the first half in particular, he played some lovely balls over the top for the likes of Sturridge to chase, very much like the way Pirlo's been playing long balls over the top to find Balotelli, which caused us many problems in our first group game.

    Gerrard is not our Pirlo.

    Lampard is not our Pirlo.

Ian Bogie is not our Pirlo.

    We don't have a Pirlo.

Pirlo's not Pirlo anymore. An old man past his sell by date.
