They've still only won 1 WC game since, what is your point again? They played less games because they've done worse. They went out in the groups in both 10 and 14, we got through the group in 10. If this is an attempt to bash England like normal, it's failing. A bit like Scotland.

Agree with all of that. I thought Lampard was our best player today. Some of his passing was excellent and he got himself stuck in. A lot of people have said that Gerrard shouldn't retire because he can be "our Pirlo". Well, he showed nothing in this tournament that suggests he can be and Lampard today was, at times, very much like "our Pirlo". In the first half in particular, he played some lovely balls over the top for the likes of Sturridge to chase, very much like the way Pirlo's been playing long balls over the top to find Balotelli, which caused us many problems in our first group game.
Gerrard is not our Pirlo. Lampard is not our Pirlo. Ian Bogie is not our Pirlo. We don't have a Pirlo.
