England unseeded in the World Cup Final's

I would tend to believe that the senseless way in which FIFA operates, in just about everything, leaves us no choice but to keep a strong view of ourselves; afterall, if we cannot, who can?

 

The first pot has 3 crap teams and 5 class teams. The 2nd pot has 3 class teams and 5 crap teams. Which pot do you think we've a better chance of avoiding a top side?

I'm happy anyway, I prefer playing the better sides its far more exciting.

 

At no point have I called these sides inferior, so don't try to put words into my mouth there.

I just think that they should be in the second pot, and England, Netherlands and Italy should be top seeds.

Also, in the same pool as 'better teams'? The top seeds consist of Spain, Brazil, Argentina and Germany for ****s sake. Which pool would you rather be in?

I was over the moon at drawing Deutschland in the last World Cup. Anticipation in the run up and up until Germanies third goal was bloody fantastic.

 

Just looked into this and yes, if Fifa do the same thing they did in 2005 they'll shove the lowest ranked European qualifier into the other pot. That will be a playoff team (all the group winners are ranked in the top 19) and could well be France, but only if Iceland, Romania and Sweden are all eliminated.

 

When is the draw made for the WC?

I would love nothing more for Aus to be drawn with England.

It has nothing to do with anything. I just thought it was an odd choice of username. Whether or not it's a true depiction of yourself is irrelevant.

Although incidentally my name is Tommy, I am a Tiger (fan wise) and I look just like Tweek from South Park.
