30 mins gone.. Fairly even game, Dutch have generally looked more threatening. Sims has had England's best chance shooting over the bar from 19 yards in a central position.
 
Half time. Defences on top, Goalkeepers have had little to do. Sims has had the one chance, otherwise has been useful in terms of continuity but has not offered any real threat. England had more possession as the half progressed after bright Dutch opening 10 minutes.. (40 mins per half).
 
5 mins into 2nd half. 1-0 Holland cracking strike from over 30 yards.. Swerving into top corner, 'keeper had no chance. Sims now being substituted.. I'm off to walk the dog..
 
Semi-finals vs Portugal are on now if anyone's interested. Really good game so far although it's all Portugal. Sims is on the bench, but Brown and Roberts on the wing have been disappointing so I wouldn't be too surprised to see Sims on at some point
 
1-0 England, brilliant touch and finish from Solankie. Portugal hit the bar three times in the first half! Joseph Gomez at centre back looks like a future England captain.
