    The danger of losing the fourth spot has pushed me into rooting for the Mancs, but never Arsenal and Chelsea. The Manchester clubs are the lesser two of the four likeliest evils in the league as well, so I’m getting used to hoping they do well.

    Maybe messing us up in future was the incentive for Southampton and West Ham to crash out of Europa so early...

    This shows one flaw in the rating process: West Ham qualified via the fair play league. They really shouldn't be bale to drag our rating down by being knocked out early

    Oh yeah - Martin Fulop! Who the hell was he playing for? He had a total nightmare, didn't he? Jesus. Sure we were a bit unlucky on the last day of the 2012-13 season too though this might be invented on my part.

    I think they do because the rating is the average of all 8 participants. So anyone 'below average' reduces it.
