Does anyone know how much £ England players make from the F.A?.Is it worth the likes of Rooney n co going in for a 50/50 tackle and risking what they could earn with club football?.I think this is a major factor why were so ****e,long gone the days of bandaged up Terry Butchers and Mark Wrights these guys ring in sick if they as much as sneeze.So begs the question how did Spain get around this diamond earring wearing era?.

 

Because in Spain their players are national heros, where as here they're vindicated by the media. Would you put your heart and soul into something that you get no appreciation only hate for? And if Rooney went in for a 50/50 tackle and missed out but hurt the other player, Christ the media would crucify him and call him a thug. So what's the point?

as its a nothing game with nothing at stake i would go with this team based on who is fit and able to play tonight.

Cammy Stewart looks better than 50/50 to start for the England U21's tonight. At least its on ESPN Live. Will record that game and watch the England highlights when i get back in. Job done.

 

A disgrace, really? Apparently Rooney is injured but still, playing your better players is hardly a disgrace.

Thing is, Pearce doesn't have the job full time and if he is to have any chance of getting it he'd need a good result today. Even if he doesn't want the job he'll want to be remembered fondly for his time in charge so I'd have thought he'll play his best team and go for a good result.
