Yep. Stick Terry in and it's suddenly a decent back four again. Cahill and Baines are very good (although mistakes were made last night admittedly). Just need a decent right back to come through. But like Chazz says its the cover that's really worrying. When the squad was named I liked most of it but the defensive cover is ****e. Jones would be alright as a third/4th choice but you don't want to be relying on him after 1 injury, and Smalling, well yeah. We've got a lot of similar quality attacking players who offer slightly different things so I'll go with whatever Roy picks further forward, although as I said on the other thread, I don't think based on last night we should be desperate to get Rooney into the middle since Sterling was good in the middle.
Start Lallana use Sterling as an impact sub, play Rooney central, Welbeck wide. Baines is a concern, but might come through, but Johnson is dire. Stop the training ground pot-shots and focus on deliberate finishing.
