Confirmed Shaw is injured. let's hope he's better by the Chelsea game.

 

I think we are over playing Shaw this season, he has picked up so many niggly injuries. Unfortunately we don't have much choice because he is so good that we are significantly weakened when he doesn't play.

 

Yes but is he injured or 'injured?' Guessing we won't know.

 

Sounds as if we have withdrawn Shaw due to a lengthy injury to Foxy (Who is out for 5 weeks).

 

Did someone take him out in the car park with a crowbar to the knee?

 

Shaw had an injury a while ago and was subbed again when he came back. He was also returned from the last u21 squad. Perhaps it's a prolonged niggle that will improve with another break.

 

Probably a Saints fan! I have no idea who would play at left back if we lost Shaw and Fox.

 

Clyne made a pretty good fist of it against Villa, if I recall.

Indeed, I imagine it would be Clyne or Forren. Targett would probably be brought into the squad to deputise as well.

 

Whilst I don't want Shaw to remain injured long enough to miss a game, it would be amazing if Targett came in and played an absolute blinder, just to hear the gushing noises the media would make afterwards.
