I'm afraid this has been the situation for as long as I can remember even in the days when Chilton/Wagstaff were racking up the goals season after season neither got a sniff of international honours. Granted some great players were around in those days but Geoff Astle? I think the only honour Chilton received, if that's what you can call it, was being picked for an 'England 11' then I can't remember if he actually played
