Well yeah, when you infer that my opinion is based on my club allegiances it will look slightly suspect.

England are not Liverpool though, and shouldn't be set up as such, predominantly because we don't have access to our own Suarez or Coutinho. Even if England were Liverpool (and here's the club allegiance coming in) they've just done the biggest bottle job in Premier League history, what makes anybody think they'll do a job in Brazil after that?

Completely agree with you her TT. I think they'll smash us. The only benefit being it forces the hand of the FA. See ya Woy, **** off Stevie G and co.

They may end up like Kerry Dixon.

Former Chelsea and England footballer Kerry Dixon has been charged with a drugs offence.

The 52-year-old former striker of Jardine Way, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, was charged with possession of a class A controlled drug.

Kim White, 46, of the same address, has been charged with the same offence. Both have been bailed to appear at Luton Magistrates' Court on 14 August.

Chelsea, which employs Mr Dixon for hospitality, declined to comment.

During his career, Mr Dixon also played for Southampton, Luton Town and Watford.

He played more than 400 games for Chelsea and scored 191 goals, making him the club's third-highest goalscorer of all time.

He won eight England caps and was part of the squad for the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

Mr Dixon ended his playing career at Doncaster Rovers, where he was also manager.

He currently works for Chelsea helping with match day hospitality and is an occasional pundit on Chelsea TV.
