With the ridiculous idea of an international break this early into the season we have two games for England to pretty much cement our place at Russia next year.

First up tonight is Malta away which should be pretty straightforward. How many will we win by tonight?

I agree it makes it harder to follow and get into this way though I found the qualifying for last euros interesting where more teams qualified.

Your idea a non starter though really as loadsa players would never get a break.

Suarez made Sterling look good. Teams were so afraid of Suarez they would leave spaces elsewhere that a fast tricky player like Sterling could run through.

The Premier League has destroyed English football for English people.

I'll watch major tournaments but there are many other things I'd rather do than watch a qualifier or friendly - such as scratch my arse, do the ironing or take the bins out
