If FSA gets the job, how the **** is he going to live up to the standards set by his many predecessors.
What with the trophy laden cabinet at St Georges Park to remind him of their successes the expectation is going to weigh heavily.
Hopefully, the glorious football we've come accustomed to over the years wont disappear overnight.

And I thought sarcasm was dead.

The problem is it is because these players play week in week out, and change teams playing for England. The way forward is players who ONLY play for England and no other team.

Tbh I'm not bothered who is manager of England or what style the team plays. We all love winning in style but nothing beats just winning anyway. Ask Greece if they care how much they were boring when they won the Euro's. Many teams go a lot further in the major championships than England being very boring. As for hoofball to a big man unless he's grown a lot since I last saw him Defoe did pretty well for Sam.
England always try to attack too much, struggle to defend, look clueless at set pieces and this year in particular seemed to lack any plan or plan B if indeed we had a plan A. I think many managers including Allerdyce would do a lot better than woy at all of these things so why not give him a try.

Same I'll support who ever is manager, although SA is not my first choice.

Agree with the above though, not bothered about style just want to feel the hype of progressing to a decent stage of a tournament. I'm 27 and only vaguely remember Euro 96 and WC 98 which was the last time it seemed we could do something special. Ever since it has just been disappointment after disappointment and then once you thought it couldn't get worse it does... a whole lot worse.

If Sam does the job then I'd support him regardless. I'm almost certain he'll make a pigs ear of it however.

Been talking himself up for years and putting his name forward. If he ****s this up he will be a bigger laughing stock than he already is.

STEVE BRUCE?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahahahahahahaha...... It gets better every day. Which Ex-Mackem manager is next for interview I wonder?, Peter Reid, Di Canio. It seems we have found someone, after all these years, that rates the managers that the ****-Lovers have employed.

Its like a JOKE!! Is this the best that we can do, really??.... Steve.."The Lush"...Bruce.!!!!
I wouldnt have him in charge of my Pub, let alone the England team...

I'm just waiting for this Carver to throw his hat into the ring....

Allardyce leaving will send the unwashed into meltdown. They will then be looking for yet another hero. This can drag out all summer for me. Piss funny watching the beel flow.
