This. Brazil, Germany, Italy, France, Argentina, Spain, Holland, Denmark, Czechoslovakia, Greece, Mexico, Congo, Sudan, Zaire, Morocco, Ghana, Cameroon, Egypt, Algeria, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Tunisia, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Iraq, Uruguay, Peru, Paraguay and Columbia to name a few.
if playing a counter-attacking style against a team as bad as Bulgaria is 'decent' football then yeah.
Since England won the World Cup, FIVE nations have lifted the trophy since then. Spain, Italy, Argentina and then there is Germany & Brazil twice each. Besides, if trophies is what you're after, why the **** do you still support Newcastle United?
My opinion is basically the same as everyone else, don't give a monkeys. Maybe if there was a Newcastle player in the squad I'd take interest, I'd rather watch 90mins of Krul in goal for Holland than 90mins of England. The north/south divide plays a part as well imo.
This. I support Newcastle because I want to, not just because I'm from the area. Just because I live in England doesnt mean I'm going to support them.
That's because FIFA base the rankings on all international results, not just performances in championships or World Cup competitions.
Here's a situation. World Cup final England v Holland It's gone to penalties. Last penalty, it's the decider. Krul's in goal for Holland. Carroll's taking the penalty for England. Carroll scoring will win England the World Cup. We dislike Carroll but England winning a cup? Could it be? Krul saving will... show Krul to be the kick ass keeper that he is. We love Krul. He's super. I know it's unlikely, but just imagine What do you prefer?
Carroll to smack the ball into the bar, cannoning back into his face and knocking the stupid **** out
My question still stands. If you're so bothered about silverware, why do you support Newcastle United then? It's plain and simple England-bashing and it's ****ing laughable.
You've just named ONE competition There's more than one competition in which OTHER international countries (a **** load of them, as proved by AG) have won trophies. And England haven't.
Kind of agree with that, I enjoy watching Krul for Holland, but still couldn't give a toss about England when Carroll was in the side. Our national team is full of ****s, they're a disgrace to the country, the cricket team is where it's at.
I'm not a glory hunter, I don't care about the "no trophy since '66" thing, I was just answering your question. I don't care about the England team because I can't stand the ****s who pull on the shirt, or the ****ers who say England are going to win the World Cup and then have the audacity to call us deluded, or the ******ed pundits who think Rooney is on a par with Messi and Ronaldo. I haven't given a **** about the England team since 2002, and probably never will again.
