After a close win for WI in the first ODI. England won convincingly in the 2nd decider is on Sunday before the T20s start
http://www.fawanews.com/India vs England.html Good stream if you want to watch the game. India well on top, but??????
Root has 61 test wickets and 33 odi and t20 scalps. A bit better than a purely part timer. I have thought for some time that he should take a bigger part in the bowling attack, and train/practice bowling more. Especially as he no longer has the responsibility of captaincy.
First Test, Hyderabad (day two of five): England 246: Stokes 70; Ashwin 3-68, Jadeja 3-88 India 421-7: Rahul 86, Jadeja 81*; Root 2-77, Hartley 2-131 India lead by 175 runs Not looking good
Yes, we have rather been taken to the cleaners....again! Our 3 or 4 best spinners should be sent to play in India red ball cricket for 2-3 seasons to learn how to play there
Summary Pope anchors England with increasingly-assured century Ashwin bowls Stokes with sharp spinning delivery Bumrah's brilliant spell of reverse swing removes Duckett and Root India bowled out for 436 - a lead of 190 Root takes two wickets in two balls, including Jadeja for 87 First Test, Day three, Hyderabad Close of play - Eng 316-6 Lead by 126
India 73/3 need another 158 for victory Did you see that WI beat Australia at the Gabba by 8 runs? It looked like an excellent test, Shamar Joseph took 7 in the final innings to win it for them
We only went and won it guys. First ever defeat in India for India when they have a first innings lead of more than 100 runs.
I do know that most of the squares in India tend to have two soils the black and the red soil. If it is red they tend to turn and crumble quickly so winning the toss and batting is crucial. Edit: Just saw an article which said it should have plenty of turn and India might only play one fast bowler
