I remember there was some talk about making the wickets more batting friendly this year to help prepare us for the Ashes. Was this ever done?

 

I think we need more than that Zog. Maybe a rule change requiring the opposition to bowl underarm .........

Root now 353 runs in 3 innings in this series, and he can increase this total tomorrow if Jimmy can stay around for a while.

 

Jimmy decided he's a far better batsman and therefore didn't want to embarrass his captain by hanging around too long
