"...they ram it down our throats at every given time through the media."

That's just chip on the shoulder mentality that is so prevalent in Wales and consistently makes us look envious and petty. Sorry.

"Every game that is shown in the World Cup will be dominated by English coverage, sooner they get ko'd the better."

Think you'll find that if Wales or one of the other home nations was there it would be televised too. Why shouldn't it be? There are 53 million people living in England and many will want wall to wall coverage. See nothing wrong in that.

What pisses me off Dragon is the fact that when Holland will be playing Spain, rather than talk about hose countries we'll have to endure with an England w**kfest before during and after the match.
And they do ram it down the throats of the Celtic nations and had **** all to do with a chip on anyone's shoulder.

At least England qualifies for tournaments unlike wales who we get humiliated every time because our FA lets clubs get away with players crying off for no reason and England wont tolerate it and insist their players turn up....

We have been humiliated for years because we never ever field our strongest side that has a chance of giving anyone a run for their money. We are a laughing stock and always will be when we have had some and still have some of the best players in the world in our ranks. If their clubs say we cant have them then that's that we field a weakened side where England wont accept that in any shape or form and demand their players, that's why they qualify and we don't and never will....

Yeah, it's not like 85% of the people in the UK are English, is it. Going by population, the coverage is pretty fair.

<laugh> Nice one. England are at the Finals on merit and I think they'll get out of the group having played well last night. Wales, apart form a couple of excellent individuals are rubbish. THAT'S why we're not there, not because clubs wouldn't release players. That's bollocks.

The english pundits are so far up their arse the way they say England put in their best performance .....They lost and were second best against an Italian side that is also been going through a bad time. The game was a typical European game that looks far better with more entertainment than the other nations but there was no getting away from the fact that England were not good enough on the night.

That's just meaningless soundbites picked up from elsewhere. Yes, England lost but if you didn't think that was a decent performance then you must have either not watched or been watching a different game. VERY unlucky imo.

If Wales put in a performance like that but didn't win you'd be pleased too wouldn't you, despite the loss.

We all have different views, mine was that England played well and deserved at least a draw. I still think they'll get out of the group.

They're just excited and why not.

Remember how excited we were when we first got to the premier league. Remember how excited the bloobys were when they finally reached our level and were "coming to get us".

Think how excited we'd all be if Wales made the world cup finals with a half decent squad capable of beating anyone on their day. That's what it must feel like to be an English football supporter right now.

If Scotland were the one UK team to make the world cup we'd all be wearing tartan and singing Proclaimers songs.

England just need a draw against Uruguay and a win against Costa Rica (2/3 goals to make sure) to go through.
If they play like last night they'll achieve that comfortably.

If they can't get that it'll be that they're not good enough to progress and nothing to do with luck.

Agree with that too. Looks like the Eyeties will win the group comfortably.

If anyone's ramming anything down your throat, then you must be allowing them to do it. If you don't like it, just switch off the TV, or find a non-UK feed to watch. England are (were) in the World Cup, so of course it'll be on TV. It's the same in all countries. They cover their own team. Not sure what you expect. Definite chip on shoulder.

I think Valley's motivated by a a wider agenda, plastic. It's hatred of the 50 million people that live to the east of us, unfortunately. Bigotry and racism takes all forms and is the main cause of problems in our world today.

You cheated. You knew all along that England are useless and that there'd be no steak. Got us all excited for nothing. :)
