    i think the team will be the same starting line up as last night, though he may replace welbeck with sterling.

    personally i'd play the team you've selected above except swap ox for lallana (doubt ox will be fit anyway) and i'd play johnson, not because he is good - he's not, he's ****e - but because phil jones is even worse at right back.

    I think your on right wavelength there ptc with that lineup. Rb is the big issue and jones can't do any worse the Johnson. He's unlikely to get caught out in final third after a foray forward like Johnson. Wilshire will be better at covering Gerrard when he's pushed forward although Henderson could also play that role and the liverpool connection could be key. and with sterling and ox you've got speed and an attacking mentality to link up with Sturridge. Those 3 should put the fear of god into most defences running at them and getting into the box.

    I’d be much happier if Roy kicked Johnson and Smalling out now and replaced them with Flanagan and Stones.

    Both can play right back and I’d prefer Stones to central defensive backup to Jagielka/Cahill & Jones over Smalling.

    And if we’re looking at future tournaments, surely Johnson isn’t going to be our senior right back in 2016. I hope not, anyway. No point in persevering.

    If Sturridge buries a couple of those relative sitters instead of putting them wide then this conversation never takes place.

    I thought we looked pretty good at times going forward, a fair bit of fluidity from the front boys and a good number of decent attacking chances made.
    Johnson is poor, I do agree we look vulnerable down that side defensively & he offers us nothing going forward.

    England played pretty well up to the rain break but after that & especially in the 2nd half things deteriorated, possibly due to the Hondurans deciding to kick us off the park.!

    Please judge England & Rooney once things get serious;

    Rooney has played 92 times for England his goal scoring record is 9 goals in 35 friendly games, 30 goals in 57 competitive games, that is a pretty good return in competitive fixtures.

    Rooney like Euro 2012 is the major issue for England.

    All three friendlies he's been absolute garbage. Sadly, he's bound to be accommodated into the line up when it's quite clear in our 4-2-3-1 there are other players who fit certain positions far better than Wayne.

    I do rate Rooney but for me he'd be sub right now.

    Have a feeling Milner may well start too to offer protection to Johnson on the right.

    Can't believe we're playing Olly Murs and Jamie Theakston. We're going to get slaughtered.
