Just a heads up for anyone travelling to the Pompey game by train. There is engineering works going on in the Southampton area. Please make sure that you give yourself extra time if travelling by train. Engineering works are planned months in advance to be able to sourse replacement buses etc etc. Unfortunately the Pompey game has come so early this season. If ok with Mods we can use this thread for any future engineering works affecting games.

I was planning on driving but leaving the car at the station and getting the shuttle bus to the ground (well back form the ground as on the way we walk in so we can grab something to eat in town). My question is the car park open if the station isn't (I imagine it is as there are bus replacement services?) and are the busses to and from St Mary's still on?
It should be. I think the replacement buses go from the Mayflower side of the station so West Quay side should be fine.
Yeah the buses definitely park up Mayflower side near the Tesco Express.
