yes, even though i'm only watching the scores tick over on cricinfo. there's going to be a result one way or another, especially with a dry day in store for surrey tomorrow.

England's game to lose now surely! Will they try and win it today? 130 runs in what, 25 overs max?

yep, could be, and something like 25. 35 over today theoretical but it'll be dark way before they get anywhere near that many. sa will fancy getting a few wickets though.

Well, they're definitely going for it and there's plenty of overs, just depends if the light holds out.

who'd've thought we'd get to a situation wherein one of england's openers is called zak and the other has zak as his middle name.

or where one of them has a test high score of 67 and the other has a test high score of 267.

That was a disappointing end. Seems silly to finish like that when a win is only 30 min away. Frustrating. Might have to take tomorrow off to watch the finish

It's a pity Lees couldn't see it through to the finish, but nice knock my Crawley, which will make him feel much better about things I dare say.

You are right, I was thinking about the loss to WI was included, but it won't be.

Lancs have lost. I’m pleased as well, means I won’t get the usual abuse from my red rose neighbours!

meanwhile, in the 7-game t20 series decider in pakistan, the home team now need over 21 an over to win.
