    Okay, so cancel your Direct Debits, refuse to pay your next bill, and when they come round to cut you off, chase them away with a rusty WWII bayonet.

    I actually knew an old boy once who did that, but it was a housing officer from Haringey council he chased off with the bayonet.

    it's market rate to be fair and this is capitalism (actually not really, there is a price cap that is still keeping costs lower than it should)

    However i think there should have been a windfall tax, companies earning billions yet energy which really should be a right is costing everyone through the roof.

    The government (like france have done) need to subsidize energy whether through a windfall tax or the magic money tree.
