Pissed off we aren't playing today. Derby lucky last night. Going to be an interesting season. Birmingham v Norwich Brentford v Rotherham Bristol City v Nottingham Forest Ipswich v Blackburn Millwall v Middlesbrough Preston v QPR West Brom v Bolton Wigan v Sheffield Wed Sheffield Utd v Swansea 05.08. Leeds v Stoke
Just looking at those matches, makes me think we're in this for the long haul.... a very strong division, lets hope we can keep in it...
Though I didn't see the game sounds as if Derby have already got the luck with them. The Lampard effect just might give them that edge with the officials.
Hope they struggle this season. TWS were expected to come straight back up, but they were down there for...was it three seasons?
Just under 30k at Sunderland’s game according to Sky. All things considered on and off the pitch they certainly must still love their football up there. Losing 0-1 btw..
Saw their last home game in Div 3. Roker Park. Marco Gabbiadini. Good laugh. That’s the sum total of my memory. The late 80s is a bit of a blur tbh.
So that the top two divisions of football can be filled with more clubs that are in cities where there is so much to do they can't attract a half decent crowd and half the games are played out in half empty stadiums with no atmosphere?
Sunderland are in my accumulator for promotion , won't they have got a massive parachute Payment this year,? if you can't get out of a division with Rochdale in with that, there's summut wrong .
