It's one of our weaknesses too when it's our corner as we have been very wasteful of the corners we have had this season .

 

I agree. We haven't scored enough corners this season, which is strange considering Dawson and Davies looked dangerous at each one during the first two-three games with their split runs.

Brighton had the better chances and more possession.

 

In fairness… many of our corners don't reach the edge of the 6 yard box...

 

SKY say that a Burnley win after a draw or defeat for Brighton means Burnley are up .

 

corners,, set pieces.. scoring.. attacking.. defence.. goalkeeping...
but apart from them weaknesses, were great.

 

We're particularly strong at passing sideways though.

A difference between the play-off and the league game is that, when we went in the league, we went for three points as we were challenging for automatics and Derby picked us off on the counter. In the play-offs, we don't need to go there and win and we can sit and see what Derby can do - the onous will be on Derby to come at us this time and not counter attack us (which is one of their biggest strengths).

I've heard of "players being on the beach" at this time of the season, but that takes it t a whole new level.

 

Cortez, the 3 points went at the KC after about 25 minutes and the 3 at Derby went after about 30. They did that by attacking us!!!

 

Some teams try out a new formation, we're looking for a new crustacean.
