Saw this whilst rambling around the internet and obviously 6/2025 is the first to look at as to who to keep and who to go.

End of June 2025:

Dubravka, Schar, Wilson, Lascelles, Krafth, Gillespie, Ruddy, Lewis

End of June 2026:

Burn, Targett, Pope, Almiron, Longstaff, Ashby, Hayden, Trippier

End of June 2027:

Botman, Jacob Murphy, Willock

End of June 2028:

Tonali, Isak, Barnes, Livramento, Bruno, Miley, Joelinton, Alex Murphy

End of June 2029:

Kelly, Hall, Gordon

So who would you want to keep, who would be okay to keep and who would you definitely want to go.

For me I would want to keep Schar but only on a one year extension as I feel short term he would be good back up to Botman and new CB. Not seen much of Kelly but what I have seen he doesn’t stand out as next level quality.

Krafth I would be it’s okay to keep as he always works hard and whilst not next level he would again be a reasonable squad player for the short term.

The rest, thanks and goodbye. June 2025 that is.

Honestly our track record of signing players recently has been so poor that bar the cripples, I'd keep most of them.

Some who are constantly injured need to be shifted and I see no reason to list em, we know who they are.

**** me nearly 3 more years of Murphy.

That literally makes me feel sick.

As well as running down those June 2025 contracts, we really need to start looking at who we can actually SELL. For some MONEY! Lack of inbound transfer fees has been one of our biggest issues for a while.

We need to be shifting the likes of Miggy, Longstaff, Tripps, Murphy & Targett while we can get 'something' for them. It might not be a lot, but it all helps with these PSR rules. Don't just keep running down contracts and then finally releasing players. Generate transfer funds.

Over the next 3 summers I would literally only keep 3 Schar, Botman and Willock, while Schar wouldn't be here in 3 years and Willock really depends on his fitness....

Only good thing is the main starting players have decent lengths remaining but shows how much work there is to do in terms of upgrading this squad.

Squad 3 years time should look like:

GK
Livarmento - CB - Botman - Hall
Bruno - Tonali - Joelinton
RW - Isak - Gordon
GK, RB, CB, Kelly, LB, Miley, CM, Willock, RW, Barnes, Osula

Maybe a few youth players like Sahar, Sanusi, Murphy, Mason Miley, Pivas, Harrison etc. filling those spots on the bench
