His end of season form shows he deserves a place in our squad. I'm not convinced he'll be a regular in the starting X1 but he's certainly an asset - I hope he teaches Nath how to run aggressively into the box <ok>

Very pleased with this news, Emnes I rate highly, and it will be like a new lease of life for the lad, he's only going to get better, the lad was wasted in the Championship, well done Huw Jenkins!...................<cheers>
 
When the music stops , Emnes will have plenty of chairs to choose from ... he's our new Scotland... and thats from a Bluenose, Nova Scotianer ( spelling might be wrong )
 
Great addition to the squad at that price. As Phil says, new lease of life for the lad so he'll be more than happy he's with us permanently and should be itching to show what he can do.

a) it's not "his" wallet the cash comes from
b) we've spent approx. £8-10m up front so far and now have at least 2 more high earners (Fabianski and Gomis)....nobody has left yet.
