I think if your opponent is pissing blood down their leg and you're whinging on saying the break was unnecessary you're in the wrong. Nobody wanted to have to pause the game then.
Understandable as you say but I didn't really like it.

My thoughts too, really enjoyed the way they played. They also showed that its possible to put loads of energy into it without those incessant irritating grunts and screams
Aye I always prefer a game played in silence. I've played a bit of tennis over the years and I've never felt that yelling when I hit the ball was a natural thing to do.
Saw a match the other day where one woman sounded like she was shouting "****!" every time she hit it, pretty funny to be fair.

First ever qualifier to win a grand slam. Cant usually watch a full game of tennis but that was pretty tense stuff. Great win.

Bleeding
If a player is bleeding, the Chair Umpire must stop play as soon as possible, and the Sports Physiotherapist must be called to the court by the Chair Umpire for evaluation and treatment. The Sports Physiotherapist, in conjunction with the Tournament Doctor if appropriate, will evaluate the source of the bleeding, and will request a Medical Time-Out for treatment if necessary.
If requested by the Sports Physiotherapist and/or Tournament Doctor, the Referee in consultation with the Grand Slam Supervisor or Chair Umpire may allow up to a total of five (5) minutes to assure control of the bleeding.
If blood has spilled onto the court or its immediate vicinity, play must not resume until the blood spill has been cleaned appropriately.

Don't normally bother with Tennis but watched that last night, enthralled to see two young kids giving their all, excellent match and well done both players although the whingeing at the end took a bit of shine off things for the Canadian.
That £1.8m is clearly a lot for an 18 year old but it’s pretty insignificant in comparison to what she’s about to earn.
