Is this man the answer at left back?

I don't know why i haven't had this thought before, as every time i have watched Celtic this season, he has been stand out, and on more than one occasion magnificent.

He's a decent defender, has great pace, and is at his best, from what i've seen, supporting the attack, with a very decent cross to go with his pace, and an excellent first touch.

He's just nailed the player of the year award, so plainly he hasn't just turned up for the big games (i've only watched Old Firm matches, as scottish football is dog ****), and although i openly admit that Celtic are a massive club, they are a massive club that couldn't be any more mickey mouse if it was in Orlando, and had a theme park attached, with Mickey Mouse in it.

I doubt any Celtic fans read our board but would love to hear from you, and if you are reading note the 'credit where due' given to your club!

Final point, for all Celtic's size, there's no money up there, a bid around £5million would surely be very difficult to resist.

very very good player for what i've seen of him, reminds me of leighton baines overlapping and getting dangerous crosses in, also takes the odd set piece. I know it's the scottish premier league where there's not much quality but this fella stands out like a sore thumb and i'm not surprised he's won the player of the year. Get him signed Brucey!

Name sounds a bit like he'sageezer.... maybe better suited to West Ham?

Agree, Baines is exactly the right comparison for him in terms of players already in the league.

He'd be absolutely ideal, i even like the fact he has Emilio on the back of his shirt, this is a daft thing for me, but i always think it suggests a certain self confidence when a player has something other than his surname on his back.

I stand by for 100 examples of dog turd players who used a 'shirt alias'

<ok>
