You don't like Steve Bruce much do you Mr Lambretta ...

I am sure he will sort things out and we will bounce back..

    Hopefully..

Looks like it could be one of those up and down seasons, my concern is still that if you change the manager it takes at least a season and usually more for them to get up to scratch with a club and to get the players doing what they want. Bruce has done much better than I expected with the players he has brought in but can he mix things up a bit when its not working? A proper ****ty result today, v Leicester getting beat was not a shock but a team having lost the previous 7 or whatever should be there for the taking given the right tactics and organisation from the manager, especially at home.

I'm surprised at some your comments OLM you obviously know a thing or two about football but I think some of the stuff your coming out with is down to the fact the manager is Steve Bruce more than anything.
Let's not forget we have been watching the best football at the KC for years lately as we'll as our best start so to start a crusade after a couple of mishaps looks a bit cheap.

Except for sliding in for the 3rd goal and not winning the ball, or taking the man down.

Apart from directly give the ball away five times that i counted in the first half, i gave up in the second. The fact he was clearly at fault for the third goal. Also if you was at Leicester, which you may have been, can you please say what Bruce did right? Nugent had him all game, teams now just put their striker on Bruce as they know they will get change out of him. Against Leicester everytime he got the ball he seemed to just give it right back to Leicester.

Difference is very rarely do you see our other defenders have to make recovery tackles, with Bruce you see it once every two minutes.

You cant beat a bit of good old fashioned bias can you.

Nugents first goal, he was on Chezzys side of the goal and no it wasnt his fault either.
2nd goal Koren got embarassed with his half arsed attempt at a challenge. Their player then dinked it to the far post, again Chezzy's side of the goal for an easy header.

I agree Bruce missed his challenge for POsh's 3rd yesterday but this came form Aluko losing it on the half way line. Their player fed Sinclair who ran at Bruce, Sinclair would have beaten any of our CB's for pace in the same situation, Faye did back off too far but he had no other option.

Got the first goal i think we would have gone on to win, we had enough of the ball they were low on confidence but we could not break them down. Caught on the break, bad tackling like that and you deserve to lose. Now supporters who were saying two weeks ago dont change the system are now saying change it A major concern must be Oli and Chester been injured. All round it was bad day we could do with settling down again, keeping a clean sheet and sneaking a win on Tuesday night, after all two weeks ago we were looking great now the opposite were desperate for any kind of win

I disagree. I call it taking your chances, which is something we've struggled to do for several years, with the exception of Bolton, the first half against Millwall, and Leeds away. More alarmingly we've now forgotten how to defend.

He's a complete and utter **** where Junior is concerned.

    Spot on

City1904 is talking more about him being crap in possession, which he is.

I know you don't like people judging him unfairly because of his dad and his reputation before coming here, and I do agree that it was always going to be hard for him to win us over, but that doesn't mean he can do no wrong. He has made mistakes and he's not good enough on the ball.

I think we agree really, you make your own luck. I'm not taking anything away from Peterborough and it wasn't like we suffered from major refereeing decisions or anything. What I mean is that we did all the hard work and got into a position where we looked the more likely victor, but just failed to finish them off and were sloppy at the other end. Not strictly luck but you can see why I used that word.

I must have been at a different game.

Overall, he hasn't been bad, but he was our worst player on Saturday and he's always ****e with the ball at his feet.

What utter rubbish but i was surprised that he did not go for broke and put on Mclean when Sincalir made it 3-1.
To me that showed that SB had given up on the game by not doing so which is unacceptable.

ALEX BRUCE WAS IN-PART RESPONSIBLE FOR GOALS ONE and THREE.!!!! Piss poor tackling.

    But he was not alone.

I tend to agree. I'd rather McShane played ahead of him as he's a better player, just with an undeserved reputation.

I also can't understand why he Bruce didn't take a defender off when he put Proschwitz on. His post-substitution formations seem to be all over the shop.
