Joelinton can't even control a ball
Yes be can and he's been on good form for a while... Since Jones came in he's been much better.
You see it just makes no sense.. Is it the players ( Longstaff) or Bruce? You can't blame Bruce for schlongstaff and then blame Joelinton and not Bruce
As with everything it’s both and more, eg Ashley, Charnley, scouting etc.Yes be can and he's been on good form for a while... Since Jones came in he's been much better.

Ultimately, if you’re wanting to blame the main person then look at Ashley.
I blame Charnley.Spot on, the buck stops with Ashley.
I blame Charnley.
Ashley has set certain parameters and Charnley has ****ed up mainly by splashing the cash on Joelinton and giving over the top wages
Longstaff I've seen play well. Joelinton I'm yet to. He might do well under a different manager, but I think someone who can't even trap a ball probably isn't a footballer

You make a good point. We have two players who underperformed under Parker, Jean Seri is showing why we paid 25 mil for him , he is playing the role that Kante does for Chelsea. Mitro last season was a brooding presence, however under new management he is a revelation, scoring goals and, more importantly he is enjoying his football and it easy to understand Bruce when he said that, had he been manager at the time he would not have sold him.
How can a player who cost 40 mil regress as Joelinton appears to have done?, I have seen him a few times and I believe that there is a decent player there but the problem seems to be that he doesn't know what his role is and by extension, neither does Bruce. Perhaps he is a play maker rather than a natural scorer.
I always thought it was Scunthorpe on a Tuesday night…He is 30 now and is playing like the guy we paid the big bucks for. This is solely down to Silva, a manager who was inauspicious at Watford, Hull and Everton, yet seems to have hit the ground running, but more importantly he has retained the contracted players from last season and added premiership players to the squad. Final point on Seri he has only played in clement conditions for us. How he performs at Teeside in February remains to be seen.
