Allegri would be a very good signing for them!
Apparently they have approached him and he is up for it, if the financials are right

To be fair, Arsenals board are a problem, but that problem isnt that they dont back their manager financially.
Emery was given ample cash to build a team, he just spent it poorly.
They aint got the same problem as Spurs, where their chairman is an old ****ing miser.
Arsenal's board are a problem in that they have no footballing men on the board, they are all business men, so they had no one to take Emery aside and be like "Oi, tha fack yoo doing? Ya fackin rubber!"
In fact its telling that they didnt sack Emery on the back of his ****ty results, but the catalyst, at least partially seems to be that no fans turned up to watch the game last night, as soon as their wallets are threatened, they take action. But I don't think Arsenal are scared of spending money, as long as they are making money.

Levy I think just has a vault like Scrooge McFucking Duck where he swims in cast sums of gold

    This is simply bizarre...
Fom late February 2019 his record was:
    Cup games
    P 11... W5 D1 L5 f 21 a18
    League games
    P 25... W6 D6 L13... pts 24 f 31 a 31

    In total P36 W11 D7 L18 f52 a49

Would be a risky appt imho

FYI I am a Chelsea fan, not Arsenal :p
Their board aren't terrible, better than Spurs' board.
Their main flaw is they dont take action quick enough, because there are no footballing men on the board, they seem to be okay with what's going on, regardless of results, as long as money is coming in, where as fans like to see on field success, but the Arsenal board, not so much, they act like they dont give a **** as long as the stadium fills up every week.

exactly so the board are not aiming to spend their money keeping their fans happy and are running a business … the problem is that other clubs are competing for the same thing.. there's only 3 cups and 4 champions league places available , so maybe Arsenal fans have had their fill for a while and need to realise things have changed and stop moaning about things because it's unhelpful to their own cause . It's not like they're a million miles off 4th and nobody owns these positions.. otherwise there would be no point for fans at other clubs.

Right so you dont think Man United or Arsenal have the right to look at what, say Leicester or Wolves have done on minimal budgets in recent times and be like "Hang on, we have spent 15 times the amount they have, yet are languishing in mid table, something isn't right here" and then try to make changes to be more efficient and get them back up to where that level of investment should put them?

Don't get me wrong, I would rather see both clubs relegated <laugh> but of course clubs of their stature are gonna look at a manager like Emery or Ole, probably on £10m a year or some ****, having been backed in the market, and see that they are in mid table and want to do something about it

The pressure of expectation isn’t the same on wolves or Leicester. Clubs like Utd, and to a lesser extent, Arsenal, the fans demand instant success. So they spend big amounts in the transfer market trying to buy players who they think will help them achieve that.

problem is, neither have done that very well recently.

Well yeah, thats what I am saying, but equally, when the manager is shown to be clueless or having spent the money given to him unwisely, surely the board and the fans have right to get disgruntled and want a change.
