I wonder if you used that same reason to berate Lovren, who was also voted?

But I do find it funny how you ignore the rationale I provided previously.

It is, he needs to get his head over the ball and start smashing it.

Early days to confirm that mate - he's only young.

We'll have to wait and see whether he gets the chance to develop.

He is mate but goal scorers tend to have a natural instinct that show itself in their early years.

For all his pace and ability to get into good positions, this lad simply hasn't got that instinct IMO. Time will tell if he proves me to be wrong <ok>

  8. We could have built a team around Mario having bought ten players that suit him perfectly, Mario would still have been a massive failing ****fest!

Most strikers records start slow and get better.

I'm in no way convinced by Origi, I think he's another Borini in that he offers good movement but no end product. He is young though so could improve.

    A fair observation <ok>

I must admit when I casually had a look at his goal record when he was back on loan I was shocked.

And not in a good way!

Indeed. Defenders and defensive midfielders often take years to show if they're good enough at a new club or league. Forwards usually adapt within a handful of games: at least you can see if they'll be good even if they're off a little.

Origi still has time to adapt and do well. Way too early to write him off; however, I'm not that optimistic because he was carp in France.

You really are a pompous, self righteous, clueless, armchair, prick

Shame you know **** all despite your pontifications, you bag of wind

Hummels was already at Dortmund when Klopp arrived and Gotze came through the he academy and had been at the club since the age of 8

Feel free to suck my hairy ball sack

Haha another reference to 'armchair' fans. You clearly think you're better than everyone on here who isn't a local or have a season ticket.

And as I mentioned previously - Hummels was WRITTEN off by Bayern and then Klopp made him into one of the best defenders in the world. And he turned Gotze from a raw talent into another world cup winner.

Lol so I reiterate - please stick to discussing all things Everton and PL.

Yeah lad like Rodgers turned Sterling into a £50m player and Suarez into a world beater.

Go write a blog about it son <laugh>

Sometimes in football you have to take a step back to go forward. I wouldn't say Hummels was written off at Bayern, I'd say he was probably just too raw to put in the first team but he was a little too old for being in the reserves/youths and it would hinder his development.

Well someone coached him. Players don't develop by themselves. Otherwise there would be no coaches in football.
