....shame the clown who planned having Baloteskey anywhere near Anfield didn't follow out the door <whistle> (or the guy who signed the cheque for £32m for another injury prone striker being signed by the manager who was such a "clown")

You're absolutely right - let's sell the youngster without giving him a chance. I must be so stupid to think Klopp could develop him - you know, the man who developed unwanted talents like Hummels, Lewa and Gotze.

Yep, believing in giving a young player a chance is now considered putting him on a pedestal.

Perhaps you should have sold Barkley after his pathetic displays last season given how quickly you like to write off players.

Mario was not a massive problem - not like we had a manager who played players out of position or system which didn't suit the players. Or spending £50m on Soton players who contributed sod all.

And we had a board that backed the manager and gave him his number 1 target. You can't blame them for that.

Point 1: Who said he was the biggest issue? Rodgers got sacked rightly......so let's all pretend everything else was spot on and nothing else was the matter <whistle>

Point 2: They sacked him 8 games later <doh> So yes they obviously weren't planning particularly well to pay £32m on a player "only Brod wanted" <laugh> or £16m on a bag of ****e he didn't want either now you mention it. Rodgers was ****e but that doesn't mean he was wrong about Balotelli being a total waste of ****ing space.

Balotelli is a ****ing idiot with the intelligence of a garden shed and the decision to sign him was an absolute shocker

You clearly don't know anything about football outside of England, so please go w*nk over old footage of MOTD and Des Lynam.

Bayern wrote Hummels off and Dortmund signed him for around €4m.

Klopp also have a very raw Gotze a chance to shine as wwll

Or that he could develop 22 year old Flanno eh? Talk about hypocrisy Jimmy.

Not saying Mario was a success - but it's amazing and annoying how he is the scapegoat in all of this. He was not a massive issue and wasn't signed to be a starter.

You have to have an ounce of ability and potential to be developed in the first place.

He isn't the scapegoat for anything.....hence me using the phrase "Rodgers got sacked rightly". You read different things than people actually write them. I merely raise Balotelli as an issue as you seem determined to try and rewrite history by pretending EVERY fault at LFC over the last 3 years is down to Rodgers.

Also, I misinterpreted this comment and edited my response. Apologies for being so abrupt. <ok>

All of the major issues were down to Rodgers. The local media would have you believe the committee was a failure, capped wages and spending meant that mid table was par for us.

Instead of criticising the manager, we were led to believe and accept mediocrity was par for this club. It isn't - I guarantee that the quality of players we bring in under Klopp will be significantly better than the overpriced PL dross that Rodgees brought in, and we will see more from current places.

Apology accepted <ok> As much as we'd all like to think the garden is sunshine and roses again, there are still massive improvements needed behind the scenes (whatever Klopp says). Way too easy to lay everything at Rodgers door but if we don't address the structure then I guarantee we'll be sitting here in 2 or 3 seasons time with people "surprised" that, yet again, things have gone tits up.

Have faith - as mentioned previously, I believe Rodgers was a big problem who caused a lot of conflict.

Will be interesting to see how we get on without him in all aspects and I believe we will be better off. A better and more cohesive recruitment process, players being developed, players playing in correct positions.

No one is denying Rodgers was a massive part of the problem (he'd have been sacked with or without the Balo transfer). But Rodgers wasn't the only part. FSG hired him, they then lost faith in him controlling transfers (rightly) but still kept him on, gave him a new contract, failed to sack him despite the fact he was "apparently at odds with everyone else for so long". What if Klopp signs a few duffs in his first window? Take control off him and just start signing random Balotellis? Let's hope not eh. FSG need to give JK 100% support and not allow others to interfere thinking they know better (unless they really do).

Balo was just the epitome of everything wrong with the committee/back room issues, just as Lalla and Lovren were everything wrong with Rodgers judgement. None of it worked so it ALL has to change <ok> First part is done so let's hope the rest improves as much as the quality of manager just has :)

You mean when Flanno was the most dribbled past defender in his 'breakout' season, and Origi was selected to play for his country at the World Cup?

You do realise that Origi has played the game before he joined Liverpool?
