This, hopefully he makes a speedy recoveryAhh, nuts. Lad seems a bit erratic (completely expected for his age and the expectation on him). But he's played some right cracking passes and look good on occasion.
Wishing him a speedy recovery.
hope this isnt another watmore situation where the same injury becomes a recurring one
Wouldn’t want to knock the lad but I’ve yet to see where he offers us anything different, has been little more than average in the little game time he’s had this season, that said I wish him a quick recovery. He needs to be looked after so this hamstring heals properly and we don't hurry him back.
I know he offers us something different but we don't want him being in this position regularly.
What’s the red card got to do with the injury? It was not the same injury for Watmore.. he was chopped down in a game and the player was red carded

I think he's suggesting that Wycombe purposely done a number on Watmore, knowing his problem with injuries, meaning his latest injury is not down to bad luck, it was because of their dirty, bully boy tactics and he's still suffering the consequences now.
I was thinking the same, every time a young one seems to be on the verge of a break through into the squad they pick up an injury that keeps them out for mid to long term. Its that new boy jinx again, Watmore, Hume, Robson and now Embleton, its really tough luck for these young players having suffered injury just as they were showing real promise on breaking into the first team squad. Hope they are all fit and pushing for places in the second half of the season when we will need a strong squad to cope with the run in.
For those of you of a certain age this luck can be traced all the way back to when Bobby Kerr started in the first team, he burst on the scene and was getting rave reviews then along came Norman Hunter and broke his leg in front of the main stand at Roker Park in a league game and it took him ages to get back to that level.I was thinking the same, every time a young one seems to be on the verge of a break through into the squad they pick up an injury that keeps them out for mid to long term.
We have no luck

However, he did have the last laugh in 1973.![]()
