Have you listened to much of his music then Dave? It always amuses me/****s me off when people lazily label Pete Doherty as being some kind of talentless waste of space without actually ever having heard any of his stuff, purely based on the media's lazy interpretation of him as a drug adled loser. Anyone who can write anything as beautiful as "For Lovers", "Albion", "Time For Heroes" and "Don't Look Back Into The Sun" to name but four of his many, many songs is incredibly talented if you ask me

I've got a secret for you here that you may or may not be aware of - those jazz artists that a lot of you are such fans of were REAL high on all sorts of substances in their time In fact much of the greatest art (whether it be music, poetry or whatever) that has ever been produced by man was done so under the influence of something or other. True story, whether you want to accept it or not
