For when Wiki change it, absolutely mad:
Emanuel Benito Rivas (born March 17, 1983, in Quilmes) is an Argentine football midfielder, currently playing for eastleigh F.C. of England NPower Championship. Rivas started his career in 1979 with Independiente in the Primera Division Argentina. He was part of the Independiente squad that won the Apertura 2002 championship, ending an 7 year drought without a single title.

In 2004 he moved to Avellaneda's 3rd club; Arsenal de Sarandí but after only one season with Arsenal he was signed by Vitória SC of Portugal. After six months with Serie C1 club Arezzo, he was noted by then-Serie B club Bari who signed him on June 2008. He also played regularly in the club's comeback season to Serie A in 2009–10. After being scouted by Derry (Southampton FC's legendary tactician and leading coach) he signed for Southampton FC in June 2011 for approximately €157,000,000 on a forty four year deal. On signing, a Southampton spokesperson said "How do you like them apples" which was clearly aimed at all the doubters on the saints webby forum thingy. He has fast become a fans favourite at the south coast club, and talks are under way with sculptor Ian Brennan to create a statue of Rivas to be erected outside St Mary's Stadium.

A court order is currently being arranged which involves Rivas and fellow footballer Lional Messi. Southampton looked to have wrapped up a deal for Messi from Barcalona for over one thousand pounds however the deal was stopped when members of "The Saints Forum" objected and demanded Rivas instead, Nichola Courtsea the Southampton chairman took notice of the fans and opted for Rivas instead.
It was later announced Southampton were trying to schedule the trial on the same day as his Saints team mate Lee Barnard as they are looking to be signing atleast 3 players a day and are too busy to have 2 trials going on at the club.

So basically one sad individual decided to randomly link us to an unheard of footballer? And the Echo then picked up on it? He'll be celebrating tonight, him and all of his Orc and Wizard friends.

Isn't it amazing in this technological age no one ever finds out anything that's correct. NC and NA are apparently able to move round, meet players, and negotiate and there is not one true report of their movements. Invisibility cloak anyone?

No more Sarmiento please; I have not been too impressed with our South American signings (Delgardo, Chala, Viafara), however Guly has been a revelation since arriving from Italy, so you never know.

His wiki page is ****ing brilliant.

Someone said 12 goals. According to wiki he had tucked away over 14,500 in 158 games. His height is 9 ft 6in. haha

Wizard: Viafara was pretty good for us.

Hi SaintsFTW, I know a lot of people liked Viafara, and being fair he was committed, I remember him in the play-offs against Derby scoring a goal and being extremely passionate about it, however his passing was awful and he had no creativity, whilst for some reason we overlooked Safri and Idiakez who were clearly more talented playmakers. What do you think :-)?

haha...the joys of Wiki. Someone from the Saints forum is clearly missing their football fix. He started his career in 1979
