Too many think were already through to the final, that's the problem. As someone else posted t'other day, general sale is far too late. The buzz and awe of reaching Wembley is/has died down, people aren't as likely to act on a whim of excitement and she'll out for the expensive trip. The hardcore will all be there but the part timers and hard of cash will likely have their eyes set on the final. We should have been stressing how unlikely the chances of any non pass holders are of actually getting a ticket to the final, for any non pass holder the semi is their only chance to go to wembley. I don't live in Hull so I don't know if the general feeling is to wait til the final, but it seems from here that a lot are holding back in hope. If I was hard of cash I'd go to the semi every time, do it as cheaply as possible and there's always a month and a half to scrounge from somewhere to go the the final. But if you sit this one out and we lose, you'll be kicking yourself for years.
I've heard a few people say exactly that unfortunately. I can't believe some people would write off the match so easily.
If you're not a passholder, you have very little chance of seeing the final. We would get about 21k tix. Given that the club's marketing is **** and the cub is run in an amateurish way, the public of Hull should need no persuasion whatsoever to get to Wembley, ffs. It's not like out history is littered with visits there, is it?
We sold 19,000 in the initial pass holders applications, I assume we sold another couple of thousand to pass holder walk-ups and they'll jump again when they go on full general sale on Thursday, we'll get through them.
This. You can't sell 32,000 tickets when only 18,000 people have been entitled to buy them so far and only some of those 18,000 have been allowed to buy more than 1 ticket. If we're up to 21,000ish then that's at least 3,000 of last season's pass holders bought their 2 tickets (which fits in rate wise with my 2 or 3 out of a group of 11). It'll be a bit higher than that as well, as that 3,000 is based on everybody taking up the first ticket.
For those who still haven't heard from City: http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...united-n-season-card-apps-update-1463741.aspx
Turns out I've actually had a ticket ready to collect for about three days. The silly bastards had ignored the e-mail address I put on the form and sent it to the one I registered with my season-pass about three-years ago I near **** myself this morning when I thought I still hadn't heard from the club.
I think that's what has happened to me. I lost access to my old email about 18 months and I don't think I updated to my new one. I'll ring them tomorrow.
Mine was sent to my dad who is currently on holiday and only got back today. Despite the fact my email was all over the application. Don't think my tickets are two bad, row 14 block 117.
