I am quite hopeful of keeping JB. You don't often see so much movement in January.
I think we might keep him till the summer.
I thought a loan spell ran until the end of this month? With a recall possible from January 1st, seems ridiculous to not have him available today.
Like to think that as well mate. Trouble is we don’t have owners with the best interest of the club at heart.
Elphick is distracted by the transfer uncertainty surrounding him and can’t concentrate. Makes sense to leave him out.

He might not have been eligible to play for them today, that's the suggestion I read elsewhere anyway.
Would definitely have preferred to keep him. However, he has made an important difference by organising the defence and showing our central defenders just how it should be done - an important legacy that could see City hanging on to more vital points in the second half of the season. Annoying as he had just settled in and looked like he was enjoying his spell here. Paper thin squad and we still keep winning,don’t hear that very often.
He certainly looked genuinely chuffed with the performance at Preston and I suspect he would have been happy to stay.
