If it's not unexpected then in a well run club we would already have a could of potential loan arrangements lined up. Preferably ones who are better.
Knew this would happen. Adkins saying oh no contact from Villa he’s staying. Don’t say out bleeding obvious he is off. Yeh
They’re not going to get one from us and he can’t play for anyone else, if he’s recalled, it’ll be to have him in their squad.
I'm glad we won, as we all are. But at least 3 put themselves in the window last night... every time I watch a Championship game lately, its laced with ex City players...
Daily fail reporting he is going back. If so he must have been told along with the club. Usual mushroom **** going on again. Fully expect to loose at least three this window with one cheapie added at the end of the window. Last chance to pocket more cash won’t be missed.
Guardian report on the villa game says he's stated he's considering bringing him back as they have no one at centre back to partner Chester due to injuries
Yeah hardly a surprise they had to play Bree at centre back. One fit centre back, no left backs and three right backs, I imagine it's nailed on he is going back. Great squad going forwards but terribly unbalanced.
It's frustrating but, given our situation, that clause might have been the only way the deal could be done at the time. I'm assuming we're covering his wages, so unless Villa do seriously want to play him, I think they'll be cautious about recalling him as the new manager will have other, no doubt expensive, targets.
Scout sat next to me yesterday. I ask you happy with what your watching. Reply one good one bad, He left straight after Bowen’s second . His parting comment was I have seen enough now!
Unfortunately, it seems a no-brainer for Villa, they are struggling at the back and he is playing well, I can see him going. P.S. On the plus side at least having him these last few weeks has given time for the other centre-backs to play and get to know each other, so hopefully if he does go they can step up and do a reasonable job.
