We've agreed on an option to sign him if we get promoted.

He's a great outlet for Quinn, Koren and Aluko. He's keeping out a fans favourite in Rosenior, so he's there on merit.

Love how he's bombing forward constantly and how he gets back quickly. Whether that happens if we start to lose regularly, that's to be seen. But at the moment he's been quality for us.

See all other posts, which exclaim positive and glowing reports of his quality play for us so far. I know the concept of logic hasn't been mastered in the backwaters of Leeds yet, so i'll forgive you.

I never said he was poor, just casting doubt on your chances of getting that purchase clause which depends on promotion. <cheers>

    It's not possible until January.

You massively underestimate us. It's a shame that so many people like yourself judge teams based on the 'big club' thing which as we've already established, just means history.

You love building this strawman argument about it being a matter of big clubs vs small clubs. I just don't rate your chances when I look at some of the other, superior teams in the division. Don't rate ours either. It's a matter of quality, not size.

If that's all it is, then I go back to 'you massively underestimate us'. But really I think it's more a case of your judgement being skewed by the fact we're only little Hull.

Yesterday you said our signings didn't impress you, but if a 'bigger' club had signed them they'd be raved about. We, like Leeds, haven't been able to spend big or sign big-name players in the last few years but this year we've got loads of proven players. Aluko was one of the best players in the SPL last season, not a great standard but look at him on youtube, he's awesome, Quinn was one of the best player in League 1, an absolute gem of a signing for £300k, Faye got promoted from this division last year but was for some reason released. Combined with Chester and Hobbs, it's almost certainly the League's best defence. Proschwitz cost us £2.6m, he hasn't done anything yet, but at that price you'd bloody hope so and again, at another club it'd be treat as one of the biggest signing in the division. Amos is a brilliant 'scum' keeper, just like the other players we've got from Man U he oozes class. Add Koren and our full-backs to that and you've got a hell of a team.

If you don't think we have quality, you obviously don't know much about us.

When you sit back and look at our team on paper, it really does ooze class, dare I say better than our premier league side? This isn't like hull city, can't we go back to having **** mediocre players like we're used to?

There's no point at all in disgussing whether Mckenna or Oli. They're so different. We'd want Mckenna to defend our back 3/5 and Oli to be the midfield Maestro he was yesterday. Both will have their parts to play.

Don't get me wrong, I much prefer us scoring goals and winning games, but Oli just seems so easily passable at times. It's alright against Millwall but I worry that he might be the first one to cave under Leeds' physical game. Hopefully I'll be wrong.

It's true that they're very different Kempton, but Oli seems to be the closest thing we have to a defensive player in the midfield so he's the natural comparison. If we can get away with it, playing the more attacking 3 is great, and McKenna will probably come back in after we lose a game to 'steady the ship'.

Mckenna will be of use in away games when we're under more pressure. As long as he doesn't stamp/kick anyone that is.

Mckenna does the cynical things well. When we're on the backfoot he seems to get himself in amongst it and tends to get himself booked alot for professional fouls.

When McShane was brought on yesterday, he gave the ball away too much for more liking. In tight matches i hope he's not risked.

You could see McShane's brain working (or not) before he hoofed the ball forward. I counted 5 'passes' that he made, all intercepted and one produced a Millwall corner. He simply does not possess the same ability as the other players in the squad. This is not a criticism - just a fact.
