I'm behind you...
word on the street is we might be trying to tie him up late doors.

i must admit when i heard carroll was off he was one that i thought could be a realistic target. he's having a good season but he's no andy carroll. i wouldn't be disappointed if we brought him in mind as i think he'd do okay with us. he'd score enough goals to keep us safe and he's better than what we're left with.

get real who are we gonna get in at this hour, he'd at least be an improvement on what we've got.

that being said i can just hear pardew harping on about the similarities between him and ashton now...

I've heard the Lion of Newcastle is coming back for one last swan song because he feels he ow's you lost after getting you relegated in his only stint as a manager, god bless hope his wobbly knees dont colapse !!

If he was available for £2 million maybe, but only as a stop gap until summer. He was an early season flash in the pan and the goals have dried up of late, plus he's heading for the wrong side of 30. No thanks, although if Sturridge goes to Bolton on loan it seems like Wanderers may be paving the way for his exit.

would be a decent stop-gap as long as he wasn't too expensive. Problem is that everyone knows we have £35 mill so asking prices will get stupid :(
