If that bastard Swindon player celebrating a fellow professional being dismissed isn't either Ungentlemanly Conduct or Bringing The Game Into Disrepute then I don't know what is.

    Absolute disgrace

Does anyone believe that Swindle deliberately targeted Wade Elliott because of the red card they had at The Gate last season?

I only remember the Swindle player pushing Wade over. What lies up to it?

And as for the incident yesterday. I was not there, neithetcwas I listening to radio autil half time. But some are saying that the one that Wade tangled with, walked away with arms raised like ha had scored a winning goal.
Hence my question. Was Wade targetted? Does anyone who saw the incident which apparently was off the ball and also off the camera, believe the card was deserved?
Given that it was off camera, what hope is there that an appeal will be successful?

I don't blame or criticise the Swindon player at all.

    Elliot was an absolute tw*t.

Wagstaff then thinks I'm hard so I'll get booked.
I fu**ing ask you, that tw*t is an absolute chicken.
Rarely in 40 odd years have I seen a bigger Fairy.

Wilbraham and Cotterill should shut up moaning and stop the smoke screen.

Sunday - I'd have the lot of them running up and down the Dolman all day.

So Bristol City were deserving of a disrepute charge?

And you work for Tottenham Hotspur FC?

So would you not agree that the Spurs player, Mason, also behaved in similar fashion in the recent match with Aston Villa?

Work for Spurs? Just another twat with an opinion!

What he is, is a glory hunting Prem fan who lives in Swindon and wanders along to watch Swindon on the bigger games so he can see a few Spurs loanees (in his head making him a scout) i.e.; a ****in twat..

I work with a Swindon fan who refuses to go to Swindon against any of the Bristol clubs so I don't think they've got anything to crow about.

The one thing I will say been to Swindon loads of times, is if they remove the twats outside the town end instead of letting them line up after the game then there would not be any trouble. They were there waiting for us to be escorted into the ground as well. I came in the opposite way and had to push my way through them to get to the away end. What makes matters worse was even a police women who I said why do they allow it admitted its wrong.

I have just seen the video via City web site.

A shoulder to shoulder charge is followed by the Swindon player kicking Wade Elliott's ankle, then grabbing Wade on both shoulders and then camara moves out of shot of what happened next.

As always, the one who retaliates, IF THAT IS WHAT WADE ELLIOTT DID, gets the greater punishment.

Recent incident when Mason of Spurs niggled at Benteke of Villa and when Benteke put his open hand on Mason's face, Benteke got a red card.
Neither of those, Swindon defender or Mason, who committed the initial foul were punished.

On that evidence it will be difficult to get it rescinded.

On a broader note, if Swindon are continually throwing themselves down to gain fouls, is that why only 6,000 normally turn up.

Did you see the incident RP?
I didn't see it 'live' because I was still trying to get into the ground, but I HAVE seen the replay on BCFC YouTube and it seems to show Elliot as being innocent.
You can't see the actual impact but you can see the Swindon player pulling him back hard - it looks as if their player pulled Elliot into his face!

I don't think the video evidence is enough to be certain either way.
Elliot is out of shot when the incident happened so there is no way to be sure what happened.
Yes the Swindon player was pulling at him but if he reacted that is irrelevant.
If that is all the evidence they have can't see this being over-turned by the Football League.
IF Elliot did react then he is an idiot and deserves the ban and was the cause of us losing the game.
However I am not sure either way so we just have to move on.
On another note - Sheff utd went down to 10 and won. I know it was a long time to be a man
short but we seemed to go a bit defensive and if we were as good as some seem to think we
should have been able to make a few more chances even with 10 men.

I bet you couldn't wait for city to get beat so you can have your usual moan, i bet you never got sent off, or got involved in an off the ball incident, if you didn't, you never played football, or maybe you were just a big fairy like Wagstaff, get real Rp, every winner has a moan, and after our record winning run i think SC is entitled to one.

I've only seen it once (on Sky) - not totally conclusive, but appears to be hard done by.

The reaction of that Swindon player is appuling and the FA should act.

The unbeaten record has gone, but the spirit shown by "the 10" was outstanding.

Now to bounce back on Saturday
