I wonder what percentage of our total wage bill these two are being paid? As blinded to Ellington's flaws as Paul Jewell is, you've got to assume that he's on less than he got here. Priskin on the other hand was signed as the free-scoring striker destined to take Ipswich to Premier League glory ()
That makes it even more nonsensical - if he is loaned to Derby for the whole season then he gets nil. Ridiculous. Either you count the goals they score in first team football or you don't - this is not the Ipswich thread.
IMO - given that TP has left Ipswich for the season, the thread is now redundant and should be put to bed. The final score says it all really
Agree BB - so long as you mean by put to bed we don't need to post - I hate to see threads "closed" - what one person likes another does not. This always seemed a strange thread to me. The only sense was that it was started by an Ipswich fan who was talking about two players they bought that we had had. For us ther is no real comparison between the two. We would have been more likley to compare Tamas with Will Hoskins or Ellington with a lump of lard
