Oh dear seems Wes only has 4% of the vote, what a shame. <laugh>

@YouGov

Asked to rank eight potential leadership candidates in order of preference, Burnham and Starmer dominate first choices

Burnham: 47% first choice
Starmer: 31%
Rayner: 8%
Streeting: 4%
Miliband: 3%
Cooper: 3%
Mahmood: 1%
Carns: 0%

I'm nicking @Welshie pollster job here.

Wow, Streeting is so unpopular. He's barely holding onto his constituency as well, could lose it next GE.

Makes you wonder where the votes will go as people drop out. The types supporting Streeting, Cooper, Mahmood would go to Starmer.

Rayner and Miliband would certainly back Burnham. Would leave Burnham with an approx 58% of the vote.

I'm PMSL at Wes seeing those stats on SKY, I don't do polls but I was putting that one up. The guy is a total ****ing bellend and completely misread the room.

I should have said Welshie in regards to your last paragraph, Burnham was a clear winner over Starmer if it was those two head to head.

Looking at the numbers there, I really don't think there will be a leadership election.

Starmer is never going to run if he thinks he will lose a 1v1, he should rightly see it as a waste of the PMs time and just offer his resignation following a leadership vote.

No way is Streeting, Mahmood etc going to actually run if they think they'll lose by 80%+. They'll just offer their support in the hope of keeping their jobs.

The HS2 debacle sums up everything that is wrong with this country, and it has nothing to do with immigrants.

They're best priced 9/1 because they won't ****ing win.

And it doesn't take much money to shift prices in markets like these.

I wonder how much the bookies stand to lose
if it happened (perhaps they have been wise from
the outset not to have offered "joke" odds) .
