How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

While I say the same myself in regards to TR, I read up on those two guys that have been sent down for a very long time trying to form a terror cell, it makes for pretty concerning reading for UK citizens...

Greater Manchester Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson said the pair's intention was 'to commit mass murder'.

'This is not a hyperbolic use of language.

'This was their intent and it was that they were brought up short because of the brilliant work of some very courageous, very professional and very decent people.'

Sir Stephen said had the cell succeeded, the consequences 'would have been truly awful, and would have ranked right up there with the worst of the atrocities that we have seen across the world'.

The senior officer said Jewish communities in Britain were having to 'put up with a way of life that nobody else has to put up with' and 'have more justification to be fearful than anybody else.'

The following day the UCO joined the plotters for 'hostile reconnaissance around North Manchester' - Saadaoui told him the area was 'full of Jews'.

Chillingly he bragged: 'We start with the Jews and if there any Christians caught in the act, that is a bonus but we start with the Jews.'
They walked past Jewish nurseries, schools, restaurants, coffee shops and synagogues, even entering a kosher supermarket.

Saadaoui conducted a surveillance trip around the area of Manchester, where he planned to attack with the undercover officer known as "Farouk" and told him he wanted to target schools and gatherings, adding: "Young, old, women, elderly, the whole lot, killing them all."
Yet in the meantime all Yvonne Cooper wants to concern herself with is Alexie Navalny and Moscow, while we've clearly got a problem with terrorism on our own soil. And after failing in the High Court over the Palestine Action group, I have to wonder if there is a certain amount of deflection going on here.

So yes TR is certainly safer off in the UK, but that's the same level of all our safety and that the security services keep doing their great work and remain successful at all times, but you only need to fail once for a potential atrocity to be carried out.

I still can't help thinking though, I seem more informed by our politicians on Alexie Navalny than I do other recent events that have been going on.

We'll be served up the shock news next that Epstein didn't kill himself.

On a slight aside, I watched a video on Epstein yesterday from a clinical psychologist and mind magician Derren Brown type of guy. Somebody who studies human psychology and body language etc. He was analysing a video of Espstein and basically saying that he had all the traits of a narcissist with a massive ego, bordering on psychopath, with very little regard for the welfare or wellbeing of others.

The main point was that he was somebody who had very little remorse or reflection on what he did was wrong and that somebody with his personality would be very unlikely to commit suicide as their ego wouldn't allow it, choosing instead to blame others for their plight.

All the signs point to the fact that he was bumped off.

Derren Brown ffs. <laugh>

Clever guy. I know his stage show stuff is a bit cringe, but the psychology that goes behind it all is really interesting.
I know who he is ffs. No it;s not interesting, like we already knew Navalny was bumped off, we didn't need Yvette Cooper making a big broadcast about it.

Putin either poisons them or blows them out the sky, this is not rocket science.

Now we just need Labour to tell us how we are going to deal with this new breed of terrorist in the UK, but at the moment they seem more interested in causing a war with Russia, someone that dosen;t even share our border and chatting **** about a guy long dead.

The half billion they just gave Ukraine they could have used to fund more anti terrorist operations, but no I expect we will do what we always do, wait for another Bondi beach style massacre and lunatics like Naveed Akram to appear.

And Keir will bumble on like he always does, pretending he cares, when once again it will all be a little too late - actually maybe Starmer should employ Derren Brown as he has so much insight, and tell us where the next potential attack could be.

I was just mentioning that the psychology was interesting. I was just a study into human behaviour that was all.

Michael Palin was interesting last night in the next leg of his journey, Episode 4 Vietnam, visiting what was Saigon (Hoo Chi Minh City) and Hue. Reliving the significance memories of this vehicle in 1963 and one Monks protest...

That's a Austin A95 Westminster, they were made in the UK 1956-1959, kept thinking why do I know that car, probably reminds me of the old bangers we use to play in as a kid, although an A95 would not really have been old enough at the time. Maybe I just like the beastly look of the front end.

They should never have played around with it ... makes them look silly ... also, the councils where Reform have 'taken over' seem to **** up incredibly quickly - there's far more to running things than spouting populist rhetoric...

Supposed to be cutting 2,000 foreign office jobs as well, Robbins who is in charge now, says he's worried we will lose some of our best people, at a time when we are most under threat - this was all Lammy's idea, saying it's too top heavy, so it's bound to be another total **** up if his mitts have been on it.

From what I gather Labour were advised by their own lawyers that what they were doing is illegal. Whether anyone likes Reform or not don't really come into it for me - I thought it was odd dates being changed from May, parties prepare for council elections it also costs money for the marketing material, plus it's not a good look.
