There are girls at my daughter's school who wear Hijab's. Not that I'm going to go taking pictures of them

Not that any of what they wear matters anyway.

Don't really get the obsession with Hijabs. There are people who live here who wear them, there are vastly more people who live in London that wear them. Unless you're a bit paranoid about Muslims, then it isn't really an issue.

Sucky made two statements about Muslims and Asylum seekers that were totally incorrect.

So now he's deflecting.

Mate you give Sucky a lot of **** at times, but you ran away from London for a better life, so clearly the City was not perfect, maybe Sucky is just a bit more honest then you, even if he could word things better and drop the racism.

Personally I've never found a problem with London and walked around the tourist areas without concern, so I don't see the problem, apart from the rip off prices BUT I don't have to live there, so I'm not qualified to say.

Like I wasn't qualified to say about Birmingham.

Sucky is right in someways, I don't see Cornwall being flooded with social housing, in fact no housing in the same way that's being dumped in swathes of Kent.

Where you live is mainly idyllic and as a runaway you really are not the guy who should be preaching to City dwellers.

When you walk out your front door you are not faced with millions of people and the social issues that come with that... because you ran away from it being a ****hole.

I didn't run away from London, I moved to go to university. I've never had a problem with London or anything about it. I love London, a part of it will always be my home. I go back regularly as my mother in law still lives there.

As we mentioned once before, which brought the bike issue into the equation. Cornwall is not the rosy picture perfect place that it's always made out to be. It has some of the most deprived areas in the UK. Social housing is a massive issue down here, simply because there isn't enough of it to house the people who need it. It's also a low wage area where lots of people struggle to pay rent and make ends meet.

I don't see living in one part of the UK which has its problems as disqualifying me from talking about any other part of the UK. I've lived in London, in the Midlands, and in the Southwest.

I'm not preaching to Sucky either, I just pointed out that his comments about the Muslim prison population and Asylum seeking doctors was wrong.

As for the hijabs, women wear what they chose and feel comfortable wearing. The only ones I wouldn't like would be full face coverings, I don't see any reason for people to cover their faces it's part of being human and socialising with facial expressions as part of that communication. Much like if I go into a restaurant or pub, I don't want to see hoodies and full face crash helmets - faces should be uncovered when entering public buildings AND enforced. You might see people with facial coverings at football grounds in the winter, that's understandable, but other than that for a partiicular time of year, those facial coverings should be removed, I don't feel comfortable with them. Generally if teens have hoodies I see it that they have something to hide, it;s just that perception it gives off, particularly in a climate of rising knife crime and other social issues.

You ran away and now you are preaching to Sucky. Now you will attempt to paint a picture of how bad Cornwall is because that's the hypocrite in you again knowing you are wrong. You like to preach, while posting up photos of tranquil settings on here. So yeah you are disqualified, because you are the do as I say not as I do type of guy. You ran away for 'a better life.'

So he should.

I know there are those baying for his blood, both the oppo and some in Labour. But I don't see what it would achieve, other than plunge the country into another mini crisis.

He hasn't done anything wrong, he might have taken some poor advice, that in hindsight looks like poor decision. But from what he knew at the time, and the assurances he sought, I'm pretty confident he made his decisions in good faith.

There are a lot of slimy sleezeball ****ers in politics who gleefully lie to the public, my personal opinion is that Starmer isn't one of them.
