This is sad. Remember another child dying from this in the NW, maybe last year I think it was.

Sections of society are against vaccinations. If more kids were vaccinated, these kids may still be alive. Not sure about this one until more details are released but the child last year was too young to get the vaccination when she caught it and died from the complications many years later.

A child has died at Liverpool's Alder Hey Children's Hospital after contracting measles, the BBC understands.

The hospital said the highly contagious virus was on the rise among young people in the region and it had seen a surge in "seriously unwell" children being admitted.

Alder Hey said it would not officially comment on individual cases to respect patient confidentiality but the death has been confirmed to the BBC.
The UK average for vaccinations for measles is 84%. Liverpool is 73%. The target is 95%.

It’s minority communities that are dragging these averages down and putting kids lives at risk. They should make it compulsory whether these minority communities like it or not. I wouldn’t want my future grandkids, mixing with kids that aren’t going to be vaccinated for measles. It’s a serious virus.

conspiracy theories going wild.

The person in charge of Health is america doesn't believe in vaccinations and the US governments official stance is no vaccines so it's not a surprise if people in the UK see it and believe it.

Sad really mate, thought we had done away with these problems, but the conspiracy theorists are ruling the minds of the masses now, over common sense.

The Internet enables stupid people to believe they're more intelligent than they are, some people let that take over their entire personality and start believing they're more intelligent than their teachers or now more dangerously, their doctors.

There is also the money hungry who push conspiracy theories for clicks. They tell you not to trust a doctor because he's a government employee.

Our only hope is the mindless ****s all die tbh. Cos we will never ever have a government with the balls to do anything meaningful, so we have to allow nature to wipe em out
